Our insulation installation process
Our retrofitting process begins with a free home assessment to see whether your home has any insulation already and what condition it is in. Then we'll recommend some options for you.
If we are installing blow in insulation into your walls, then we'll begin by preparing the walls. This involves making small holes through which the insulation will be installed. Depending on your home and whether you are also carrying out renovations, we can install through interior or exterior walls. Often exterior walls are easier to use.
Once the insulation has been installed, we'll seal the holes with a special compound to ensure your home is watertight. Then we'll finish and paint them, so you'll never know we were there - except that you'll have a nicer living space!
Underfloor insulation is installed in blanket form as this is more efficient. Our team will prepare the underfloor space and then fit the blanket to the underside of the floor ensuring it fits tightly.
